Somila Cungwa also known by his pen name
Sandla Somphefumlo; the Soul Hand (iGqirha)
was born in a small village called Mntlabathi on the outskirts of
Mdantsane Township in the Eastern Cape. He started writing poetry
at the age of 12. Growing up on the family with musical abundance,
where every member of the family can sing.

Sandla Somphefumlo iGqirha, intuition tuner, spiritual philosopher, motivational healer behavioral scientist.
He advocates about the predominance of AFURANUKA/African philosophy in arts and culture on the following

MISSION
Sandla Somphefumlo is an inventor of ancient musical instruments. Multi-indegenous instrumentalist who
crafts/create and play: uhadi, mbira, mbela, mrhubhe, kundi harp, marimba, makweyana, percussions and
indegenous guitars. Harnessing the rhythm with hymns and chants umxhentso nokubonga (rhythm and poetry).
Enhancing the sound with Nguni/Xhosa psytrance and meditative melodies. He can play two or three instruments
simultaneously sing, recite poetry and sharing AFURANUKA/African proverbs and wisdom.
Championing UBUNTU (humanity) and self love.
